DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 30th May 2014
Come and share your experience and success in doing science with young children! The Pri-Sci-Net is calling on all those schools and teachers in primary education who are committed to doing science through inquiry to apply for the Certificate of Excellence in Inquiry Based Science Education (IBSE).
Last year Pri-Sci-Net recognised a number of teachers for their commitment and work in inquiry with young children. Teachers from all over Europe receiving this certificate were invited to attend the International conference in Cyprus.
The Pri-Sci-Net Conference this year will take place in Malta. The 2nd Certificate of Excellence in IBSE at Primary Level is currently open for teachers and schools to apply. Teachers are invited to submit their application at any time up to the beginning of May 2014. Teachers receiving the Certificate of Excellence will receive financial support to attend the International Conference in July in Malta 2014.
The call is this year also open to schools which have demonstrated a commitment to inquiry science at a school level. Schools are thus encouraged to submit their application. A representative from the school will also be supported financially to attend the Pri-Sci-Net International Conference in Malta in July.
Pri-Sci-Net is an EU funded project with the aim of promoting Inquiry-based (IBSE) learning in Science. The project is coordinated by the Malta Council for Science and Technology (MCST) in Malta and has 17 partners from 14 countries.
