It is well integrated in the Italian University network and works closely with a large number of academic and international relations departments in Italian universities and, research centers in the preparation and implementation of international cooperation and research projects. In addition EU CORE organizes various courses on all issues related to the design and management of EU projects, with a specific focus on financial reporting and on legal and contractual issues, including IPR.

Dr. Irene Liverani, has expertise and competences in the development and management of European cooperation projects in the field of higher education and research, at all stages of project cycle management (programming, identification, financing, implementation and evaluation. Currently she is the managing director of EU CORE Consulting and is constantly involved in providing project management assistance and consultancy for FP7 and FP6 projects.
Roberto Di Gioacchino is a founder partner of “Studio legale e commerciale Cippitani, Di Gioacchino e Iozzolino” established in Romesince 1996, which provides consultancy services with regards legal and financial management of EU Programs. He is qualified as an auditor under the 8th Council Directive 84/253/EEC of 10 April 1984. In the framework of this activity he has audited over 200 projects (funded through FP5, FP6, and FP7). He regularly contributes to training courses organized by Universities and other public and private bodies on various issues related to project contractual and financial management, including IPR issues. He has collaborated to the publication “Guidelines to participate in FP7 projects” [in Italian], ed. I.A. Liverani, Perugia 2009.
