Pri-Sci-Net has last year recognised a number of teachers for their commitment and work in inquiry with young children. Teachers from all over Europe could apply for this certificate and following an evaluation process, a number of teachers qualified for this recognition. It was a pleasure to present this certificate to those teachers who could attend the International conference in Cyprus.

It is to be noted that the call for the Certificate of Excellence in IBSE at Primary Level is still open for teachers to apply. Teachers are free to submit their application at any time up to the beginning of May 2014. The call can be founf on the project website. In addition, this year, a call for a research paper/project in inquiry at primary level will be also issued for an emergent researcher. This Certificate of Recognition of Excellence in Research in IBSE aims to recognise efforts in the area of primary science, a research area which is still young and needs to attract more researchers. Those interested in this call are invited to consult the project website regularly or to write to the project coordinator on This email address is being protected from spambots.
